Whiskey & Blues Revival at Shoreditch’s Ace Hotel is a culturally curated evening focusing on four elements: Food, Drink, Music and Visuals. As you can see from the pictures, the food looks extremely moreish. And so it should be – Mattia Nadal from Chez Elles Bistroquet, the celebrated French restaurant in the heart of East London, will be pleasing your palate with a wonder of Southern flavours.
In March the bourbon is Bulleit Bourbon – a straight rye whiskey made from 95% rye and 5% malted barley. This is a whiskey with unparalleled spice and depth, distilled and aged in small batches.
For anyone who wants to go further than just savouring this deliciousness, Andrea Montague, the whiskey expert for the evening, will talk you through the taste notes and hopefully leave you with a deeper understanding of the wonderful world of bourbon. Also probably a chance to drink more, all in the name of really getting to know the product…
There’s also a series of videos that present a history of blues music and James Massiah will be creating a Soul Train-inspired after party where he will be playing a selection of Disco, Funk and Soul, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
Amazing whiskey, rib-coatingly delicious food, sweet sweet music and practically educational what with learning about whiskey! Who wouldn’t want to learn about whiskey? Better grab a few of a limited 100 tickets here
