This weekend 70,000 refugees have arrived at the Turkish border after escaping the Russian bombings in Syria. These are people that have had to flee their country because of the horrifying situation Syria is in. Leaving behind their homes, families and work, the Syrian refugees are in desperate need of support.

The organisation ‘Open Arms in Kayseri’ is a charity that supplies Syrian refugees with food, clothing, housing and finding work. On the 28th of February ‘Open Arms in Kayseri’ is hosting the event ‘Super Sunday Fundraising Event – Vintage Designer Sale’ to raise funds for the Syrian refugees where 100% of the profits goes to help the refugees. Just the other week the organisation ‘Open Arms in Kayseri’ managed to confirm an appointment for five blind children to see an eye specialist in order to find out if any of them can get surgery to improve their eye sight.
