London Collections Men kicked off yesterday, with amongst others Topman’s ode to the Globetrotter. Their signature minimal chic showed a hint of exotic colours and bohemian fabrics, while the multifunctional backpacks decorated with nostalgic travel accessories were very eye catching. MAN was as striking as ever; Craig Green showed us extraordinary deconstructed headpieces, while Agi & Sam’s frolicking dog set the tone for their witty parody on aristocracy. Astonishing presentation brought us collections on a more conceptual level, which saw Bally set up a robust yet atmospheric hiking camp on Bedford square and CP Company delighting us with an aspirational poetry reading on heroes, greatness, beauty and myth. Fashion East’s Menswear installation were pieces of art in their own right. Have a look at our day 1 favourites!
