Camden Beach is at the The Roundhouse for another eventful summer stint. With over 40,000 guests last year, it has proved itself as a must-do destination for London fun-loving sun seekers. Live music, amazing food and more-ish cocktails is what you can expect from The Beach so to avoid disappointment either arrive in good time (but who does?) or (much more fun!) book one of the three beach huts, complete with your own reserved area, deckchairs, drinks, BBQ platter and ice cream.

Music is a vital element to Camden Beach, offering live music most nights of the week until the end of August. Thanks to a collaboration with menswear brand Farah, Camden Beach will bring you Farah Presents Roundhouse Rising: supplying the best in new music throughout the month from the likes of Songhoy Blues, the soulful Karyma Ellis, the brilliant singer-storyteller Ophelia and Roundhouse Rising favourites Fran Lobo and Henry Webb J to name a few. Best of all is Imogen Heap’s Reverb, a sensation both aesthetically and audibly – offering exceptional collaborations and interactive installations from leading new creatives.

There’s also a partnership from Kopparberg, which has its own beach hut where you can enjoy a refreshing cider, or if you prefer cocktails, there’s a hut for those as well (complete with miniature umbrellas).

No beach would be complete without fish and chips  – book a table at the pop-up restaurant Fishy Business with a true coastal vibe as it’s tricked out with fish paraphernalia and nautical regalia. There is a gourmet hotdog stand and a BBQ too.

If you are looking for something a little special or a venue with a difference there is also a swimming pool above the beach in the Rooftop Gardens – yes that’s right, a rooftop swimming pool – complete with trees, sun loungers, sofas and a private bar.

One thing to remember when visiting the beach is the Roundhouse isn’t just a place for fun and a spot of sunny socialising. Everything they do supports a programme for 11 – 25 year olds, helping them realise and develop their individual creativity, contributing hugely to the next generation of creatives.

The launch party on July 25th is also a fundraising event aimed to raise vital funds for the Roundhouse Trust, which will allow them to continue offering amazing life-changing opportunities for thousands of young people. The launch party means you’ll be one of the first to step on the sand as well as giving back to the community. There will of course be a little bit of partying with DJ sets from Eliza Doolittle and Lliana Bird – not too shabby.

Don’t forget your sun cream and shades! We’ll see you at the beach.
