The brand Volcom, initially known as a sportswear brand popular with surfers, skaters and snowboarders, has once again proved to be a pacesetter in combining comfort and fashionability. On thursday the 19th of September the launch of the new premium line Volcomunity took place at The Queen of Hoxton. As Volcom’s new collection is slightly influenced by the rock band lifestyle, a night of live performances captured the right atmosphere. The event provided some great live music featuring Mike Ghost and Volcomunity ambassadors Zoëtrope, all represented by Volcom’s own in-house independent record label – Volcom Entertainment.
The brand is known for these kinds of collaborations ranging from artists to musicians and athletes, creating an active Volcom Community. As this community grows older, the fashion seeks change. The newest Volcom collection is therefore targeted towards a more refined aesthetic, resulting in fashionable garments and accessories offering designs for men, women and youngsters, still incorporating the brand’s key components: comfort, quality and athletic performance.
