Men’s Fashion Week for A/W14 is coming up in January 2014 and Volt is trying to find the hottest tickets for the shows. One of them will be the installation of Fashion East Menswear. Fashion East is a pioneering non-profit initiative established in 2000 by Lulu Kennedy and The Old Truman Brewery to nurture and showcase emerging designers through the early stages of their career. This January, Fashion East celebrates their fifth anniversary of Menswear Installations and will collaborate with Red Bull Catwalk Studio to create soundtracks for A/W14. Launched in 2011, Red Bull Catwalk Studio brings fashion and music together, giving up-and-coming musicians the chance to collaborate with fashion designers to create made-to-measure mixtapes for their fashion week soundtracks.

So in between the traffic of the shows, your eyes and ears should stay tuned for this special event. Yet again Fashion East has selected a handful of promising fashion talent and five artists, who will be a perfect mix: Massimo Casagrande x Ronika, Nicomede Talavera x XXXY, Roxanne Farahmand x Nightwave, Tom Ryling x Rudi Zygadlo and Liam Hodges x Puffer. The created soundtracks will be available to live-stream on 6th  January 2014. The opportunity given by Fashion East and Red Bull Catwalk Studio for young designers to attend London Fashion Week is a great chance for ambitious talents and another beautiful example of how fashion works as art and art works as fashion.
